Things didn’t look good when RubberDucks left-hander Juan Hillman gave up back-to-back home runs to Riley Green and Ryan Kreidler on Saturday to open the first inning.

Nine innings later, it was a different story as the Ducks knocked off the Erie SeaWolves 8-5 at Canal Park.

The Ducks (18-9) broke out with three-run innings in the third and fifth to roll to their second consecutive win.

Richard Palacios, Trenton Brooks and Chris Roller combined to go 6-for-11 with four RBIs and five runs.

Hillman (3-1, 3.41) went 5⅓ innings of five-hit ball to pick up the win.

Nick Mikolajchak notched his fourth save. He went 1⅔ innings of no-hit ball and struck out one.

Every Ducks starter hit safely.
