Hudson girls golfers are runners-up at the first of four Suburban League tournaments

The Hudson girls golf team finished second with a score of 363 in the seven-team National Conference of the first of the four Suburban League tournaments Thursday at Gleneagles Golf Club in Twinsburg.

Stow-Munroe Falls won the competition with a score of 348 and Nordonia placed third (366).

The Bulldogs’ Ellie McCoy was the medalist with a 79. Lizzy Grant led the Explorers with a score of 86. Delaney DiGeronimo was next for Hudson with an 87 and Sherry Du shot an 88.

Rounding out the top five for the Explorers were Moira Ackerman and Lindsey Columbia, who both shot a 104.
