Aurora golfers finish third at first of four Suburban League tournaments

The Aurora girls golf team finished third with a score of 363 in the six-team American Conference of the first of the four Suburban League tournaments Thursday at Gleneagles Golf Club in Twinsburg.

Highland won the competition with a score of 320 and Kent Roosevelt was the runner-up (345).

The Hornets’ Isabelle Goyette earned medalist honors with a 76. The Greenmen were led by Brooklyn Millard, who finished in a tie for second (78) in the conference with Highland’s Emily Krutiewicz.

Rounding out the top five for Aurora were Anjali Mishra (85), Emily Pierce (94), Kayla Tejada (106) and Nina Newkirk (106).
