Macedonia, Sagamore Hills and Northfield residents play in Northern Ohio PGA events

Two Macedonia residents, two Sagamore Hills’ residents and one Northfield resident played in a Northern Ohio PGA Junior Golf event July 17 at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna.

Joshua Weiner of Macedonia finished in a tie for third place with a score of 76 in the boys’ 11-to-15 age group. Macedonia resident Christina Nagy placed eighth in the girls’ 11-15 age group with a score of 86.

Allyson Siewert of Sagamore Hills placed 19th (92) in the girls’ 16-19 age group and Sagamore Hills’ resident Ben Mallis finished in a tie for 21st (89) in the boys’ 11-15 age group.

Also competing was Northfield resident Larisa Golembiewski, who placed 10th (88) in the girls’ 11-15 age group.

Weiner finished in a tie for 11th place (81) in the boys’ 11-15 age group at a NOPGA Junior Golf event July 14 at Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown.

Jay Magyari of Sagamore Hills finished in a tie for 14th (76) in the boys’ 16-19 age group.

Nagy placed third (80) in the girls’ 11-15 age group at a NOPGA Junior Golf event July 10 at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow. Weiner finished in a tie for eighth (80) in the boys’ 11-15 age group.

Sagamore Hills’ resident Allyson Siewert placed 14th (97) in the girls’ 16-19 age group and Mallis finished in a tie for 23rd (93) in the boys’ 11-15 age group.

Weiner finished in a tie for fourth (73) in the boys’ 11-15 age group at a NOPGA Junior Golf event July 7 at Riceland Golf Course in Orrville.

Also playing in the boys’ 11-15 age group was Macedonia resident Drew Kitzmiller, who finished 21st (95).

Weiner finished in a tie for sixth (79) in the boys’ 11-15 age group at a NOPGA Junior Golf event July 6 at Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley. Kitzmiller placed 30th (95) and Mallis finished 37th (102) in the boys’ 11-15 age group.

Magyari finished in a tie for ninth (78) in the boys’ 16-19 age group at a Northern Ohio PGA event July 2 at Rawiga Country Club in Seville.

Weiner (14th, 88) and Kitzmiller (tied for 16th, 93) competed in the boys’ 11-15 age group and Siewert finished in a tie for 23rd (98) in the girls’ 16-19 age group.
