Hudson graduate Will Kurtz finished in a tie for 62nd with an 8-over-par 224 at the 99th Ohio Open Championship, which took place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Medina.

Wednesday’s final round took place at Weymouth Country Club. The competition also took place at Fox Meadow Golf Course.

Kurtz shot a 77 Wednesday after shooting scores of 74 and 73, respectively, in the first two rounds.

Pickerington resident Alex Weiss won the 54-hole tournament with a 13-under-par 203. A total of 67 golfers competed in the final round.
