Questions wisdom of allowing outdoor drinking

What was Hudson City Council smoking … or drinking?

The nation is in the midst of a pandemic; the State of Ohio has one of the higher incidents of COVID-19 infections and death nationally; Summit county is in a Level 3 near-emergency status mitigating against further spread of the disease – and Hudson City Council thinks it’s a good time to permit roving alcohol consumption on downtown city streets?

Just what we need downtown – dozens, perhaps hundreds of unmasked and potentially inebriated resident and non-resident individuals wandering Hudson’s streets for 10 hours (?) per day. Hardly a welcoming and safe environment.

Most rationally thinking persons, myself included, will skip ‘the party’ and stay away from these unnecessary and unsafe festivities.
