Hudson teams fare well at Streetsboro tourney

The 11U HBA Blue team went 2-0 in pool play and made it to the championship game in bracket play at the Streetsboro Eagles Memorial Day Tournament, which was rescheduled, and finished as runners-up. Despite an over-the-fence home run from Otto Grill, they fell short and lost. The team finished the season with an 18-13-1 record.

Two Hudson Baseball Association teams participated in the rescheduled Streetsboro Memorial Day Tournament. The 11U team finished as tournament runner-up and the 12U team advanced to the semifinals.

The HBA 12U White team made it to the semifinals in the 2020 Streetsboro Eagles Memorial Day Tournament, which was rescheduled. The team was coached by HHS baseball standouts Blake Farley and Joe Caspar. The team went 2-1 in pool play to earn the right to play on Championship Sunday. They fell in the semifinals 9-5after a hard-fought battle to the Highland Hornets.
