Sign stolen from yard: A Jonathan Drive man reported someone stole an approximately $20 political sign from his yard during the day Aug. 15.
Ring taken from mailbox: An Amboy Drive woman reported Aug. 14 that an approximately $200 platinum wedding ring was stolen from her mailbox during the previous few days.
Intellectual property stolen: The owner of a Hudson Gate Drive business reported Aug. 13 that someone stole unspecified intellectual property after hacking company email. Police said there is a pending investigation.
People asked to move vehicles: Police said they responded after a South Main Street bank employee reported non-bank customers were parking their vehicles in the bank’s parking lot during the afternoon Aug. 15. The vehicles’ owners moved their vehicles when asked to do so,” said police.
Vehicles reported to have spun out: Police said they responded to a report that some kind of engine fluid had somehow leaked onto the eastbound lane of Terex and Barlow roads between Hudson Industrial Parkway off Terex and Case-Barlow Farm off Barlow during the evening Aug. 14. Police said it was reported several vehicles had spun out and when they arrived, they saw skid marks leading to a grassy area. Police provided traffic control while the fire department spread a substance to dry the fluid.
