STOW — Firefighters saved a furry resident this weekend after a kitten hid in a vehicle engine compartment.

The Stow Fire Department said the feline had “decided to take refuge” inside of the engine compartment of a parked car at Aldi’s on Fishcreek Road in Stow.

The department said on its social media accounts that it took 30 minutes to get the cat out of the hairy situation.

“Trees are so much easier!” the post said.
