Lockout

Baby locked in vehicle: Police said they responded to a Ravenna Road store after a woman reported she locked herself out of her vehicle with her 10-month-old baby inside and the engine not running at about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Police said that after initial efforts to open the door were unsuccessful they used force, causing some damage, to get the door open. Twinsburg EMS evaluated the baby, who was unharmed, said police.

Suspicion

Drone seen over home: A Glenwood Drive woman reported she saw a drone hovering over her home for awhile during the evening Aug. 5. Police said there was a pending investigation.

Theft

Vehicle taken from home: A Darrow Park Drive man reported someone stole his vehicle of unspecified value while it was parked outside his home during the late morning or afternoon Aug. 1.

Jewelry and dress reported stolen: Police said they charged a Stark County man, 32, with misdemeanor theft after a Solon woman reported July 31 that the man had stolen jewelry and a dress of unspecified values from her sister’s Sherwin Drive home since the day before. The man was given a summons to appear in Stow Municipal Court.

Arrest warrant

Man arrested during welfare check: Police said that while the were conducting a welfare check of a 39-year-old Iris Glen Drive man July 28, they found he was wanted for a parole violation. He was arrested and turned over to the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
