Police investigating robbery at knifepoint at Stow bank
STOW — Police are sill investigating a robbery last week at knifepoint at the Graham Road PNC Bank.
Police Capt. Bryan Snavely said police were dispatched to the bank at 835 Graham at about 5:15 a.m. Aug. 5, where a Cuyahoga Falls man reported that a “known associate” had robbed him of some personal effects and forced him to withdraw money from an ATM.
He said it is unclear whether the suspect was a friend or just an acquaintance of the man’s.
Snavely said Wednesday there were as yet no charges and he did not have any additional information to release.
“The matter’s still under investigation by the detective bureau so what I can give out is limited,” he said.
