Theft

Yard sign taken: A Herrick Park Drive man reported someone stole an approximately $20 political sign from his front yard during the day Aug. 3.

Criminal damaging

Mailbox damaged: A Valley View Road woman reported someone damaged her approximately $150 mailbox in an unspecified way during the morning Aug. 3.

Noise complaint

Music was too loud: Police said the responded after receiving a complaint of loud music at a Ravenna Street home at around 12:15 a.m. Aug. 2. Police said the homeowner turned the music down.

Animal complaint

Dog behaved aggressively: A Barlow Road man reported July 30 that his neighbor’s dog came onto his property the day before and behaved aggressively towards a contractor working in his yard. No citations or injuries were reported.
