Checks cashed: A West Streetsboro Street business employee reported June 26 that someone cashed three forged checks totaling $3,500 against the business’ checking account during the previous month. Police said there was a pending investigation.


Bike taken at business: A Hudson woman reported someone stole her approximately $900 bicycle from outside a Park Lane business during the evening June 25.


Man was at wrong home: Police said that after a Ravenna Street woman reported a man was pounding on her home’s front door at about 1:10 a.m. June 25, they found that the man was at the wrong home. Police gave the man a ride to the home he was trying to get to, they said, as well as a warning for disorderly conduct.

People were looking for dog: Police said that after they responded to a report of suspicious people and vehicles on Stone Road at around 10:10 p.m. June 24, they determined the people were looking for a lost dog.

Person seen on camera: An Ashbrooke Way woman reported she saw via her doorbell camera an unidentified person walking from her yard to a neighbor’s yard at about 10:15 a.m. June 24.
