CUYAHOGA FALLS — Police say that after they responded to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of Campbell Street at 5:36 a.m. Tuesday, they determined that two homes were struck with bullets.

Police Lt. Chris Norfolk said no injuries were reported and a suspect had not been identified.

Norfolk said that soon after the shots were reported fired on Campbell, there was a report of an unknown man driving south on 12th Street who stopped his vehicle at the intersection with Highbridge Road, got out with a semi-automatic pistol and fired several shots towards Campbell a block to the east.

“It’s all one related incident,” said Norfolk

A description of the suspect was unavailable, but the vehicle is described as a newer mid-size SUV, possibly a Jeep Compass, painted white with black lower trim.

Norfolk said the incident is under investigation and he did not have any other information to release. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives Kevin Lohse or Malachi Hursh at 330-971-8321. Anonymous tips or information can be left on the Crime Fighter Tip Line at 330-971-8477 (TIPS)
