The Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Parade Committee and the city of Cuyahoga Falls are announcing that due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Memorial Day Parade and ceremony that had been rescheduled for Labor Day weekend have been canceled for 2020.

The decision to cancel the parade for this year comes after the Governor issued an extension July 7 to the “mass gathering order,” extending it until the end of 2020 or when the emergency is over and also after contacting the Summit County Health Department for guidance.

The committee looks forward to 2021 and resuming the Memorial Day parade and ceremony to bring the city together and to once again say thank you to all, as has been done for the last 87 years.
