Remembering fallen comrades

A Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony were sponsored by the Northfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768 to honor fallen comrades. The guest speaker at the ceremony at the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery was World War II Army veteran John Bitto, who served  alongside General George S. Patton.

The Post also hosted a lunch at the Post pavilion. 

Retired firefighters with 20 or more years of service participated in the Memorial Day Parade in Northfield.
Area Scout troops marched in the Memorial Day Parade in Northfield.
Flowers were placed at the memorial in the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery as part of the Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony featured guest speaker John Bitto, a World War II Army veteran.
The Northfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768 hosted a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
The Nordonia High School band marched in the Memorial Day Parade and performed during the ceremony at the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
An honor guard led the Memorial Day Parade in Northfield, hosted by the Northfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768.
