The Summit County Fair will "GO FULL" this year for the annual fair scheduled from Sept. 27-Aug. 1.

The Summit County Fair has announced it will host a “GO FULL COUNTY FAIR” this summer.

In a news release posted on the fairgrounds Facebook page, operators said the fair will adhere to public health guidelines and rules in place during the scheduled festivities July 27-Aug. 1.

Along with the usual smell of deep-fried food and the sounds of children, the fair will be covered with signs pointing patrons to sanitation stations. Fairgoers can purchase tickets online at www.summitfair.com. Registration for exhibit operators is from May 1 through 7 p.m. July 6.

This year’s program features motocross, two demolition derbies, a tractor pull, a truck pull, harness racing on Friday at MGM Northfield Race Track and dirt drag racing.

The midway fun and rides include a Kids Day Circus and Jurassic Park, car show on Sunday, Friday evening concert hosted by CB Entertainment and soon-to-be-announced local acts. Lisko Family Amusements will supply 18 rides plus games, 500 animals, 4-H displays and more.
