Tyler Clark recognized by Canisius College

BUFFALO, New York -- Tyler Clark of Aurora is one of more than 1,100 Canisius College students named to the fall 2020 Dean's List or Merit List.

Clark is a member of the Canisius Class of 2023 and pursuing a degree in Spec Ed Gr 1-6/Childhood 1-6.

Dean's List recognitions are awarded to those students who have attained a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the semester and have completed at least four courses of three credits or equivalent.

Trevor Solis named to Columbus State Community College Dean's List

COLUMBUS -- Trevor Solis of Aurora recently was named to the Autumn Semester Dean's List at Columbus State Community College. To be named to the dean's list, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled for six or more credit hours.

Jessica Brown volunteers at area nursing home

ALLIANCE -- Jessica Brown of Aurora recently participated in an activity with the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at the University of Mount Union.

The group volunteered at Auburn Skilled Living, a nursing home in Damascus, for a project called "The Love Communication." Collectively, the students were able to make 200 cards to send to the facility. Not only this, but they included some extras to thank the staff for all of their hard work during the pandemic.

Not only did the residents and staff receive handmade messages of love, but PRSSA received national recognition by PRSSA- National for their efforts across all national social channels, which inhabit thousands of followers and connections. The members of PRSSA were so thankful for the opportunity to give to those in need while excelling as a chapter.

GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania -- Ann Brown and Cassie Marotta, both of Aurora, were named to the Dean's list for the Fall 2020 semester at Grove City College:

Ohio University announces Fall 2020 graduates

ATHENS, Ohio -- More than 2,300 students graduated with bachelor's, master's or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for fall semester 2020. Students included:

  • Hannah Gang of Aurora, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from OHIO's College of Arts and Sciences
  • Jacqueline Kisthardt of Aurora, who graduated with a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from OHIO's College of Business
  • Kate Kondik of Aurora, who graduated with a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Sciences (Food and Nutrition Sciences) from OHIO's College of Health Sciences and Professions
  • Alexandria Skowronski of Aurora, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biological Sciences - Marine, Freshwater, and Environmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication majoring in Visual Communication - Photojournalism from OHIO's College of Arts and Sciences and Scripps College of Communication
