Stow engineering department briefly closed after employee tested positive for COVID

The city of Stow's engineering department was closed the afternoon of Sept. 16 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

STOW — The city’s engineering department was closed to the public for extensive cleaning during the afternoon on Sept. 16 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19, but reopened the next morning, according to Mayor John Pribonic’s office.

The city had initially reported on its Facebook page that the department would be closed until Monday, Sept. 21.
