Water main project happening on Randolph Road in Silver Lake

FROM A AFF REPORT

SILVER LAKE — Motorists in the village should avoid Randolph Road while the street’s water main is replaced, according to the service director.

The project started Aug. 10 and will take anywhere from one to two months to finish, depending on the weather.

Service Director Mark Lipan said EarthWorks is being paid $54,340 to replace the entire main on Randolph Road between Oakridge and Englewood drives.

One lane of the road will be closed during the day while the work is occurring, according to Lipan.
