AURORA — A fire in a barn attached to Inn Walden early Tuesday evening only caused damage to a hay wagon and its contents, Fire Chief Dave Barnes said.

“No damage to the building,” he said, adding “No injuries. Horses were evacuated. Everybody’s fine.”

Barnes said the call came in at 6:18 p.m. that the wagon was on fire in the barn, which is used as a stable and inside riding arena, at 1119 Aurora-Hudson Road.

Mutual aid was called, but then called off and no other departments were at the scene, said Barnes.

Barnes said the cause of the fire is “undetermined.”
