Multiple police departments looked for a man who spat on a protester on Thursday.

According to a police report from Stow police, officers responded to a group of peaceful protesters at the southwest corner of Graham Road and Darrow Road after one of them was spit on.

A Kent woman, 19, told officers she was standing there and a man rode by on his bicycle, yelled something and spit on her.

She told police the man looped around and rode by a second time, yelled “criminals” and put up his middle finger before continuing south on Darrow.

The bike rider is described in the police report as a white man in his twenties, wearing a black shirt, jeans and a red hat.

Officers checked the area and notified Silver Lake police. In the report, a Silver Lake officer said the man was seen riding west on state Route 59 (Kent Road) before the call came in, and that he would be in Cuyahoga Falls by that time.

Cuyahoga Falls police checked the area but did not locate him.

The man was not arrested or located, according to the report.
