Faith and Worship - Holy Week Services

Kent Weeklies

Faith United Methodist Church

Faith United Methodist Church, located at 2560 Post Road in Twinsburg, will be having a Maundy Thursday Service 7 to 8 p.m.on Thursday, April 1. Immediately following the service, the church will host a Prayer Vigil that will begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, and conclude on Easter Sunday, April 4, with the beginning of 8 a.m. Worship Service.

The Rev. David Whitt, pastor of Faith, states that “Lent is a time of preparation. We are preparing ourselves to be raised with Christ in Glory on Easter morning. We prepare for this through prayer, repentance, and fasting. This will be the 10th year that we will host a Prayer Vigil during Holy Week. As in the past, we will be offering prayer environments in our Sanctuary, Prayer Room, and other areas of the church. Each area is designed for participants to pray and reflect on what God desires for their lives, the church, and the community. We invite you spend time in prayer in this final week leading up to Easter.

"We encourage anyone from the community to join us, if only for a few minutes, as spending time with the Lord will help prepare you to receive Christ in a new and fresh way on Easter morning."

On Easter Sunday, Faith Church will be offering two Worship Services at 8 and 10 a.m.  The services and Prayer Vigil are open to all. The church is abiding by the CDC policies in respect to social distancing and wearing of masks during the Worship Services.
