Adult Carry-Out Crafts: Lucky Charm Bracelets

Beginning on Monday, March 1, free Lucky Charm Bookmark kits will be available for pickup. Kits will include one bookmark hook, two eye pins, beads, jump rings, and a four-leaf clover charm. Virtual Peeps Diorama Contest

Our annual Peeps Diorama Contest will be a virtual contest this year. Families and individuals can work together on creating their diorama and submit it from home. Your display can have any theme, as long as it is family-friendly. Email at least 2 photos of your entry (front and side view) to Submit photos between Saturday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 6. All entries must be received by 8 p.m. on April 6. Prizes include toy Peeps, Peeps books, and Amazon e-gift cards. All entries will be posted on the library’s Facebook page on April 8. The photo that receives the most “likes” by 4 p.m. on April 12 will win the Peeple’s Choice Award. For complete rules, visit

OPUS 216 String Trio

Join us for a virtual concert with the OPUS 216 String Trio on Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m. Enjoy a mix of jazz from the early/mid-twentieth century, classical favorites, Irish fiddle, and a few surprises! Visit to watch the performance. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

100 Years of Women’s Suffrage

Last year marked the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920 granting women the right to vote. In celebration of Women’s History Month, join Carl Quatraro as he tells the story of the people and events that shaped this landmark event. This virtual program will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. A valid email address must be provided at the time of registration. Book Chats

Have you missed talking about books as much as we have? Then join our librarians for bimonthly themed Book Chats to discuss recent releases, hot bestsellers, favorite classics, and much more. We will meet virtually using a Zoom chat room on the first Tuesday evening of the month at 6:30 p.m. and the last Wednesday afternoon of the month at 2 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Carry-Out Crafts for Kids

Stop by and pick up a craft to take home. These craft kits can be picked up at the Drive-Up Window or curbside while supplies last. Crafts are intended for ages 2-8. Additional household supplies, such as glue and markers, will be required to complete the crafts.

Tween Take & Make Craft

Stop by and pick up a craft to take home on the fourth Saturday of each month through May, while supplies last. Crafts are intended for ages 9-12. Additional household supplies, such as glue and markers, will be required to complete the crafts.

Kindergarten Readiness: Home Activity Series 

You can prepare your 4- or 5-year-old child for kindergarten success by practicing the necessary skills at home, and Spike’s Place is here to help! Every month, we'll post stories, songs, and tips on our website. Activity kits will be available to pick up while supplies last. These activities will help your child practice skills recommended by the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District. Visit for more information.
