Tallmadge Recreation Center Update

New facility hours: Monday-Thursday 5 am-9 pm; Friday 5 am-8 pm; Saturday & Sunday 8 am-6 pm

Members ages 15 and under will be permitted to use the facility to work out.  Ages 13 and older may do so without a parent present. Parents must request reinstatement of their child’s membership and must sign both a COVID-19 waiver and an understanding of current facility guidelines prior to your child returning to the facility. Due to current guidelines, group games and loitering are not permitted. Contact the Recreation Center for information.

Child Care Hours Changing

Due to lack of usage in the evenings, child care will only be open in the mornings Monday-Saturday. We are trying to update our child care schedule to best serve the needs of our members. Please take a moment to fill out a survey located on our Facebook page. This survey will help us gauge future child care use and rework the schedule to be available when the largest number of people can attend.

Homeschool Open Gym

Thursdays, through Dec. 17, noon - 1:30 p.m.

Kids will participate in a variety of individual and team-based sports and physical activities. Weekly classes will feature a warm up, stretch and exercise segment, 1 mile and ½ mile timed run, fun sports and a cool down at the end. Punch passes are available and drop-ins welcome. All Home Schoolers ages 5-17 welcome.
