Tallmadge Recreation Center Reopening Update

We are excited to announce the following updates:

  • New Facility Hours:

                  Monday-Friday: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.

                   Saturday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

                    Sunday: Closed

  • Child Care Open

                Hours of operation will be Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. - noon

                * Limit of 9 children at a time.

                * Play structure will be closed and limited toys available.

                * Other restrictions apply. See front desk for details.

  • Basketball Courts & Soccer Field Open

                * Open for individual practice. No pick-up games.

                * Players must bring own equipment and must wear a mask.

2020-21 Youth and Adult Soccer Leagues

Session I Deadline: Oct. 17

Session II Deadline: Dec. 27

Or when leagues are full.

* Registration is done as a team. We do not accept individual registration.

Age Groups Offered & Start Dates:

·         U12 Open, Oct. 24

·         U14 Open, Oct. 24

·         HS Boys, Oct. 26 & 27

·         Coed 19+, Oct. 23

·         Coed 30+, Oct. 24

·         Men 30+, Oct.25

·         Women 35+, Oct. 29

Cost: $460 per team / 8 game league

Payment in full due at time of registration.

Referee fees are $10 per team per game. Referee fees are not included and must be paid by the manager on the field at game time.

Tallmadge Recreation Center offering group fitness classes & guest passes

The Tallmadge Recreation Center is open limited hours for members and their guests ages 16 and older. We are offering a limited schedule of fitness classes on our basketball courts to provide adequate social distance. The updated fitness schedule is available on our website and Facebook! The Rec Center is also allowing guest admission. Guests must be 16 years of age or older, provide a valid photo ID and must arrive with an active member. Guest passes are $5 for blue level and $7 for gold level.            

Update: Parks and Recreation Department Closures and Cancellations

  • All Primetimers events and meetings are canceled for the rest of the year.
  • All pavilion rentals have been canceled for the rest of the year.
  • Hall rentals have been canceled through Oct.15.

Camp in a Box

The Parks and Recreation Department is offering three themed ‘Camp in a Box’ activities for kids. Themes include Harry Potter, Outdoors and Superheroes. Each box comes with a list of activities and most supplies needed. Cost is $20/residents and $25/non-residents.
