Hudson High School athletic director Mike Chuppa recently was named the recipient of the 2020 Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Administrators Association Tim Flannery Horizon Award.

Chuppa has been invited to the NEOIAAA annual awards banquet, which is scheduled to take place April 5 in the ballroom of the Sheraton Suites Hotel in Cuyahoga Falls. The banquet is set to take place from 6-8 p.m.

The Tim Flannery Horizon Award is presented to an association member who exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism. This award is presented to an individual who, in his or her first two to three years of service in interscholastic athletics, has demonstrated clear signs of professionalism and involvement at their school, local and state levels.

The NEOIAAA Executive Committee honors various athletic administrators and other professionals who have contributed outstanding service to interscholastic athletics in Northeast Ohio.

The recipients of these awards are nominated by association members and honorees are selected by the NEOIAAA Awards Committee.
