Eight members of the Tallmadge track and field teams competed at the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches indoor track and field championships Saturday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva.

Senior Ravyn Edge placed ninth in the 1,600-meter race with a time of 5 minutes, 23.79 seconds and 21st in the 800 (2:37.92) in the Division II/III competition.

Senior Kenna Loveless added a ninth place in the 3,200 (indoor school-record 11:28.13).

The Blue Devils’ 800 relay team of sophomore Sam Miles, senior Mabinty Komah, freshman Lily Hawkins and sophomore Mia Hurst placed 10th (indoor school-record 1:51.39).

Also competing for the girls’ team was sophomore Allison Harrell, who finished in a tie for 15th in the high jump (4 feet, 10 inches).

The lone Tallmadge boy was sophomore Riley Murphy, who captured 15th in the Division I high jump (6 feet).
