Seven members of the Hudson track and field teams competed at the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches indoor track and field championships Saturday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva.
The Explorers’ 3,200-meter relay team of juniors Emmaline Hannan, Sydney Gallagher and Brenna Beucler and sophomore Story Jones placed fourth with a time of 9 minutes, 33.84 seconds.
Senior Molly Stecker finished in a tie for sixth place with a leap of 5 feet, 2 inches for Hudson’s girls team, which finished in a tie for 29th place with seven points. A total of 57 teams competed.
Junior Jordyn Hopgood placed 18th in the 1,600 (5:28.53) for the Explorers.
Also competing for Hudson was senior Luke Good, who finished 22nd in the 800 (2:10.19).
