The Western Reserve Academy wrestling team finished sixth with 119 points at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Wrestling Tournament, which took place Friday and Saturday at Westtown School in West Chester, Pa.

Wyoming (Pa.) Seminary won the 18-team competition with 349 points and Malvern (Pa.) Prep and Germantown (Pa.) Academy placed second and third with 294.5 and 206 points, respectively.

Manzona Bryant continued his stellar season for the Pioneers by winning the 145-pound title. Bryant pinned his first three opponents before settling for a forfeit win the championship match.

Sam Cartella (113) and JT Chance (132) finished third and Eli Spencer (106) and Roman LaBrosse (220) placed fourth for Reserve. Also placing for WRA were Adam Ramsey (fifth at 120) and Matt Randazzo (seventh at 182).

Bryant, Cartella, Chance, Spencer, LaBrosse and Ramsey qualified for the National Prep Championships, which are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
