The host Tallmadge boys basketball team suffered its second loss in 24 hours after falling to Medina Buckeye 61-58 Saturday at James O. Maddox Court.

The Blue Devils (8-12) outscored the Bucks by a combined score of 30-17 in the first and third quarters.

Unfortunately for Tallmadge, Buckeye (5-14) owned the even quarters.

The Bucks outscored the Blue Devils by a combined score of 44-28 in the second and fourth periods.

Danny Flood led Buckeye with a game-high 29 points. Nick Miller scored 13 points and Owen Knittel and Patrick Midea contributed 10 and nine points, respectively, for the Bucks.

Brandon Heigelmann led Tallmadge with 20 points and Danny Kurko and Kyle Ries added 14 and 10 points, respectively, for the Blue Devils.
