The Hudson boys bowling team finished seventh with a score of 3,617 at the Suburban League Postseason Tournament Saturday at Roseland Lanes in Oakwood Village.
Kent Roosevelt won the 13-team competition with a score of 4,381. Taking the next two spots were Nordonia (4,125) and Stow-Munroe Falls (4,043).
The Rough Riders’ Chris LeSueuer had the highest series (780) of 70 bowlers.
Two Explorers reached the top 15. Logan Loeffler led the way with a 14th-place 609 series. After bowling scores of 187 and 166, Loeffler finished strong with a 256. Brock Miller placed 15th with a 601 series (224, 174 and 203).
Hudson’s Trey Grega placed 30th with a 533 series (168, 186 and 179). Also rolling two games for the Explorers was Java Berger (158 and 147). Mason Schmidt added a 180 game for Hudson.
The Explorer girls finished eighth with a score of 2,691.
The Knights easily won the 12-team competition with a score of 3,525. Cuyahoga Falls (3,275) and the Rough Riders (3,254) placed second and third, respectively.
Tallmadge’s Kirsten Moore finished first out of 69 bowlers with a series’ score of 665. She defeated the second-place competitor by 81 pins.
Ariana Ellis led Hudson with a 496 series (159, 163 and 174). Natalie Gilles was next for the Explorers with a 27th-place series of 424 (158, 110 and 156).
Other Hudson girls who rolled three games were Katie Titmas (154, 118 and 138) and Maddie Long (101, 130 and 156).
