The host Tallmadge girls bowling team improved to 9-0 in the Suburban League after earning a narrow 2,194-2,126 victory over Cuyahoga Falls Thursday at Stonehedge Entertainment in Akron.
Kirsten Moore led the Blue Devils with a 451 series. She rolled games of 214 and 237, respectively. Isabelle Hall was next for Tallmadge with scores of 183 and 213 and Aileena Sargeant rolled games of 161 and 184.
Also competing for the Blue Devils were Florence Drayer (126 and 169) and Dakota Taylor (105 and 158).
The boys team dropped to 7-2 in the league after losing a 2,589-2,496 decision.
Joshua Parry led Tallmadge with a 416 series (193 and 223) and Parker Braccio rolled a 394 series (206 and 188).
Rounding out the rest of the scores for the Blue Devils were Robert Wilson (198 and 188), Patrick Stachowiak (199 and 173) and Cooper Randolph (169 and 179).
