The Western Reserve Academy girls basketball team’s struggles continued Saturday.

The Pioneers dropped their fourth consecutive game after losing to host Woodridge 50-25 in Peninsula.

The Bulldogs took a 30-8 halftime lead and didn’t look back.

Jill Reef led Reserve with 10 points and Megan Hovan added nine points for WRA (5-6).

"Ella [Siegenthaler] and Jill shared point-guard duties again and did a nice job in the second half of getting our offense going," Pioneers head coach Emily Thews-Baldridge said. "Josie Spano and Megan Hovan were back and contributed.

"Olivia Turk, Anna Eisaman, Carmen Majewski and Jimena Oliva continue to gain varsity experience and increased minutes due to their efforts."
