The Hudson boys bowling team improved to 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the Suburban League after earning a 2,195-1,978 victory over host Barberton Monday at Charger Lanes in Norton.
Brock Miller led the Explorers with a 426 series. He rolled games of 199 and 227, respectively. Zach Ream was next for Hudson with games of 175 and 222 and Trey Grega rolled scores of 178 and 192.
The girls team dropped to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the conference after losing a heartbreaking 1,974-1,965 decision.
The Magics threw the last four strikes in the final Baker game to win the match. Barberton outscored the Explorers 476-434 in the Baker games.
Adriana Darden led Hudson with a 366 series (215 and 151). Ariana Ellis rolled games of 168 and 169 and Natalie Gilles contributed scores of 173 and 145 for the Explorers.
Also bowling two games for Hudson was Katie Titmas (121 and 158).
