The Hudson gymnastics team finished fourth with 137.075 points at the 14-team McGee Invitational Saturday at Dublin Jerome High School.
Thornville Sheridan won the competition with 140.775 points. Brunswick (139.45) and Olentangy Berlin (138.125) placed second and third, respectively.
"The girls did really well this weekend considering all this team has been dealing with," Explorers head coach Megan Mertz said. "We kept three girls back in Hudson due to the flu and that was on top of all of the injuries. I’m hoping to get everyone healthy. Two of our preseason ankle injuries are slowly getting back into it."
Lindsey Havens led the Explorers with a seventh-place all-around score of 35.15 points. She finished in a three-way tie for seventh (8.8) on vault and eighth on both the uneven parallel bars (8.875) and the balance beam (8.65).
Julia Petty finished fourth on the bars with a 9.1 and in a tie for 10th place on the beam (8.6).
