The Hudson ice hockey team lost its second game in 24 hours after falling to host Rocky River 6-2 Saturday at Hamilton Ice Arena.

The Pirates led 2-1 after one period of play and 5-2 heading into the final 15 minutes. With the loss, the Explorers dropped to 9-9-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League Red Division.

Rocky River improved to 13-5-2 overall and 4-1 in the division. Luke Karnofel had a goal and an assist and Mack Clark also scored for Hudson. Jonah Karnofel added an assist for the Explorers. The Pirates had a 35-18 advantage in shots on goal.
