It was not the best day for the Hudson girls bowling team.
Nevertheless, the Explorers found a way to win.
Hudson improved to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in the Suburban League after topping host Copley 1,793-1,734 Wednesday at AMF Riviera Lanes in Fairlawn.
Mary Ramsey led the Explorers with a 326 series. She rolled games of 194 and 132, respectively.
Ariana Ellis was next for Hudson with scores of 162 and 125. Also bowling two games for the Explorers were Katie Titmas (155 and 115) and Natalie Gilles (130 and 122).
The Hudson boys team also struggled. As a result, the Explorers dropped to 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the league after losing 2,225-1,946.
Jacob Kennerson led Hudson with scores of 152 and 136. Trey Grega was next for the Explorers with games of 118 and 157 and Zach Ream rolled scores of 146 and 123. Brock Miller had Hudson’s high game (162).
