The Aurora boys swimming and diving team improved to 5-0 after earning a pair of victories Friday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva.

The Greenmen routed Painesville Riverside 145-37 and also defeated Mentor 113-67. Aurora’s girls’ team defeated Riverside 113-73, but lost to Mentor 110-75. The girls team is 4-1.

The following Greenmen placed in the top three in their respective individual events and the following Aurora relay teams won:

Boys;

• 200-yard medley relay: Jacob Good, Jon Hybil, Connor Zamary and Nate Meyer, first, 1 minute, 49.54 seconds;

• 200 freestyle: Drew Meyer, third, 2:08.74;

• 200 individual medley: Zamary, first, 2:11.77; and Alex Bailey, second, 2:21.85;

• 50 freestyle: Nate Meyer, first, 24.34; and Good, second, 24.56;

• Diving: Schafer Eckerle, first, 231.9 points;

• 100 butterfly: Zamary, first, 57.11; and Alex Bailey, third, 1:01.79;

• 100 freestyle: Nate Meyer, first, 54.42; and Hybil, second, 54.6;

• 500 freestyle: Max Bailey, second, 5:48.72;

• 200 freestyle relay: Hybil, Zamary, Nate Meyer and Drew Meyer, first, 1:36.89;
