Five in a row and counting for the Aurora ice hockey team.

The Greenmen improved to 9-2 on the season after routing Twinsburg 10-0 Saturday at The Pond Ice Rink in Chagrin Falls.

Aurora, which won its fifth straight game, dominated from the drop of the puck, scoring seven goals in the first period and three more in the second period to end the game early due to a 10-goal mercy rule.

Senior Adam Hicks led the way for the Greenmen with three goals and an assist. Junior Cameron Mullin added four assists for Aurora.

Senior Jack McElwee, junior Drew Pfiffner and freshman Zane Martin each had a goal and an assist and seniors Patrick Murray and Sevi Sharrotta and sophomores Nathan Funk and Mike Mancine each had one goal.

Also contributing one assist apiece for the Greenmen were seniors Maxx Goldston and Drew Kimes and sophomore Grayson Heath.

Junior Nolan Sullivan and sophomore Gavin Zivoder combined for six saves in net for Aurora. Mark Schroeder made 18 saves for the Tigers (3-8).
