Western Reserve Academy wrestler Manzona Bryant fared well at the prestigious Walsh Ironman Tournament at Walsh Jesuit High School, which took place Friday and Saturday in Cuyahoga Falls.

Bryant finished fourth at 145 pounds. Also competing for the Pioneers were Sam Cartella (120), Luke Hart (132) and JT Chance (138).

Reserve also finished fifth with 97 points at the Dean Kinley Invitational Saturday at Cleveland Central Catholic High School.

Cleveland Heights barely won the 13-team invitational with 161 ½ points over Cleveland Central Catholic (161). Lakewood (149) and Strongsville (107 ½) took the next two spots.

WRA’s Adam Ramsey earned a major decision to win the 126-pound title. Connor Burns earned a pin to claim the 285-pound championship.

Placing fourth for the Pioneers were Omar White-Evans (132), Christopher Yankay (138) and Jeremiah Biehn (152).
