The Tallmadge girls bowling team won The Raider Collegiate High School "Challenge" Saturday at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek.

The Blue Devils defeated Celina to win the 26-team title. The boys team just missing qualifying for the championship match by 10 pins.

The top eight teams qualified for the final four. Both squads finished fifth to advance.

They went on to bowl in four-game Baker blocks to advance.

Tallmadge’s Kirsten Moore had the high series of 377. She rolled games of 164 and 213, respectively. Teammate Aileena Sargeant had the fifth highest series of 343. She bowled scores of 175 and 168.

Also faring well for the Blue Devils were Isabelle Hall (166 and 145) and Makayla Legg (161).

Patrick Stachowiak led the boys team with a 383 series (205 and 178). Also faring well were Parker Braccio (182 and 192), Robert Wilson (182 and 192) and Gavin Warren (167).
