The Tallmadge wheelchair basketball team improved to 2-1 after cruising to a 35-8 victory over host Massillon Wednesday.

Isaiah Johnson led the Blue Devils with 14 points and six assists and Brennan Heavilin had nine points and seven rebounds.

Kayden Ramser also scored his first career basket for Tallmadge, which outscored the Tigers 22-0 in the middle two quarters.

"I was very proud of our team [Wednesday]," Blue Devils head coach Thomas Linder said. "The fact that we had seven players hit the scoring column is awesome. It’s always fun when a player scores his or her first basket.

"We got out to an early lead and for the second game in a row, everyone got a lot of minutes. Our defense has been good all season and everyone contributed on the defensive end."
