The Hudson bowling teams suffered their first defeats of the season Monday.
The boys team fell to 2-1 overall and in the Suburban League after losing to Kent Roosevelt 2,747-2,515 at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment in Stow.
Despite the loss, the Explorers’ Brock Miller had the high series (479). He rolled a high game of 244 and added a 235. Logan Loeffler was next for Hudson with scores of 216 and 203, respectively, and Mason Schmidt rolled games of 202 and 214.
Also faring well for the Explorers was Java Berger (196 and 187).
The girls team fell to 2-1 overall and in the league after losing 2,158-1,979.
Ariana Ellis led Hudson with scores of 205 and 182 and Maddie Long rolled games of 152 and 142. Other Explorers who rolled two games were Katie Titmas (135 and 157) and Natalie Gilles (130 and 144).
