The Aurora ice hockey team settled for second place at the Nordonia Thanksgiving Tournament, which concluded Sunday at Gilmour Academy Ice Arena in Gates Mills.

Parma Senior improved to 6-0 with a commanding 7-1 victory over the Greenmen, who fell to 4-2.

The Redmen scored four times in the first period and didn’t look back. Matthew Higginbotham led the way for Parma with three goals and an assist.

Sophomore Mike Mancine scored the lone Greenman goal with an assist from freshman Zane Martin.

Aurora junior goaltender Nolan Sullivan made 34 saves in net. Ryan Pinson made 10 saves in net for the Redmen.
