Five members of the Aurora girls cross country team recently earned Suburban League American Conference honors.
Grace Barto and Karsen Zabell were named to the first team and Victoria Blechschmid, Stephanie Lubin and Mikayla Jones were named to the second team. Alexis Horvath received honorable mention.
Several Greenmen earned team awards, as well. Blechschmid was named the Most Valuable Runner.
Barto and Horvath were named the Most Valuable Freshmen and Emmila Fellenstein, Abigail Baker and Avery Hendel were named the most improved runners.
Dylynn Lasky, Mia Bryant and Isabella Hsia received sportsmanship awards and Isabel Wilson and Morgan Schmitt earned the Warrior awards. Zabell received the Ultimate Greenmen Award and team manager Mackenna Kish earned the Assistant Coach in Training award.
