For the second straight week, Twinsburg football gave a Suburban League National Conference power everything it could handle on the road. 

Unfortunately for the Tigers, for the second straight week, Twinsburg’s rally came up short.

The Tigers dropped a 49-35 decision to the Grizzlies Friday night at Art Wright Stadium. Twinsburg suffered its fifth straight loss to drop to 2-7, 1-5 in the National Conference.

After a 1-yard touchdown plunge from Jamir James midway through the second quarter, Twinsburg tied the game at 14. However, Wadsworth would score 21 unanswered points to take command of the contest,.

Twinsburg will close out the season at home next Friday by hosting backyard rival Hudson at 7 p.m.
