The Western Reserve Academy boys soccer team won its first two games at the Midwest Prep, which took place Friday and Saturday at Kiski School in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania.

The Pioneers earned a 2-1 victory over Lake Forest (Illinois) Academy Saturday to improve to 12-2-4.

Henry Ong had a goal and an assist and Luiz Rosa da Silva added a goal for Reserve. Orion Mills also had an assist for WRA, which got seven saves from goalkeeper Sebastian Staddon.

Lake Forest had an 8-7 edge in shots on goal and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Pioneers cruised to a 4-0 win over Linsly (West Virginia) Friday.

Mills had a goal and an assist and Ong, Rosa da Silva and Matthew Randazzo each scored once for Reserve. John Robillard and James Doh each had one assist.

Reserve had an 8-1 advantage in shots on goal and a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
