It may not have been too aesthetically pleasing.

But the Aurora volleyball team will take it.

The Greenmen earned a 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-13 victory over host Copley in their regular-season finale Thursday. With the win, Aurora (10-12) finished 4-8 in the Suburban League American Conference.

Alayna Fromwiller led the Greenmen with 15 kills and Kinze McWhorter contributed five blocks. Maggie Bradley added 42 assists and Izzie Zuckett finished with five aces for Aurora.

"It wasn’t pretty and we were mentally and physically exhausted," Greenmen head coach Tyler Price said. "But we have some time to reset and on to playoffs next week."
