The Western Reserve Academy girls soccer team improved to 8-3-2 in 2019 after earning a 3-0 victory over Shaker Heights Laurel Tuesday at the Laurel School-Butler Campus in Novelty.

Megan Hovan scored twice, including a set piece from 45 yards away. Audrey Rhea also scored and Olivia Hrivnak had two assists.

Pioneers’ goalkeeper Sophia Bluso finished with six saves. Reserve had a 15-7 advantage in shots on goal and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
